I cannot emphasize this enough get rid of the entire staff except Gus at this point! How is that we are losing this number of quality and young players. I am scratching my head trying to figure out if its the lack of money, lack of development, or bad coaching because we can’t keep anybody of quality. This has been by the far the most disappointment off season in recent history. I typically am a glass half full alumni and supporter but even I have reached my breaking point with the recent addition of Earl Little Jr. entering the portal. Tallahassee is on fire right now! As a FSU fan and supporter you cannot look at what has transpired this offseason and feel optimistic about what we have rolling into the 2026 season. The portal opened up 4 days ago so I understand this could be a terrible take in a month or two and my god do I hope that is case but I don’t see us competing with of these teams. What is the answer to all of these transfers? Run Norvell out of Tallahassee we did for far less motive with Willie. Starting an entire team rebuild in your 7th year of being a head coach of a program cannot happen. This staff outside of Norvell has been a revolving door with little to no talent being developed and our only draft guys being transfers.
We hated Willie Taggart and pushed him out of Tallahassee reason but lets review his record to Norvell:

Notable recruiting decommitments before signing day - Travis Hunter (Heisman), CJ Baxter, Keldric Faulk (potential 1st round pick), Armondo Blount, KJ Bolden (potential top 3 round pick), CJ Heard, Tramell Jones Jr.
Needless to say despite a hefty buyout it is time to cut the cord on the Norvell experience. We tried it. It didn’t work. We may have missed the coaching cycle this year and damn did we ever but there is still time to cut ties and move through this season under Gus putting us first in line for coaching vacancies in 2027.
